Well that was smart of me.

I decided to keep my top 10 blog lists on my website so that anyone in our class that is interested can look over them, but I DID NOT do our first assignment properly.

  So in order to receive credit for our first assignment that was due today, here is a list for 10 Journalism Blogs that will help out new Journalists;

1. The Best Practices for Beginning Twitter Journalists

Why - It teaches you many things about Twitter that you may have overlooked, but may have a huge impact on if you become a successful Twitter Journalist or not.

2. CyberJournalist

Why - Provides information about similarities and differences between published and digital journalism, very insightful and also has a lot of videos that explain things better than a few words can.

3. Editor's Web Blog

Why - Provides information about recent changes in styles and formats pertaining to Journalism and how we get our information around.

4. Buzzmachine

Why - Shows alternative perspectives to "Hot Topics", and tries to get you to open your mind to new ideas.

5. Reflections of a Newsasaur

Why - Shows massive differences between media now, and 20 years ago. Gets you to think about what was successful in the past, and what was a bad move.

6. VideoJournalism

Why - It will teach you better methods of capturing news through film. Very handy blog, especially for those interested in becoming Vloggers.

7. The Anti-Social Media

Why - It shows very common mistakes for beginning journalists, and tells you how to avoid them.

8. The Common Sense Journal

Why - Different ways to get your news across is good, but some people overdo it. This website shows how unnecessary some of the more "Modern" means of journalism can be obsolete before they even become popular.

9. Tabloid Watch

Why - Another very good website that points out terrible Journalism, if you have misleading titles, or outright lies in your stores, be prepared for these guys to call you out!

10. Online Journalism Blog

Why - Important website to show you what other means of journalism people are using, so that you can keep up with current technology. Very good website for anyone new to Journalism.
